KompoZer is an open source web page editor that will make the experience of designing web pages easier, specially for those users who don't want to fight with HTML source code, as they will be able to edit web pages without technical knowledge, just like writing a document in Word.
KompoZer is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web editor that will simplify the task of designing a web page. But this simple yet powerful application is not only for beginners, but also for advanced and experienced users. The application will allow you to edit and write HTML tags. And one nice feature is that the application will color the HTML tags, and will number the code lines, so it will be easier for advanced users to read and understand the code.
This application has easy-to-use and advanced web tools that will let you perform complete web projects. For example, a built-in ftp client to upload your pages to your web server. Creating CSS Stylesheets will be a simple process with its CSS wizard too.
To sum up, KompoZer is a free and powerful alternative to those expensive web editors like Adobe Dreamweaver, etc. Besides, it does not use a lot of resources and it's not so heavy. |
